The Council of Al-Huda University College convened its third meeting for the academic year 2025–2026, chaired by the Dean of Al-Huda University College, Professor Dr. Omar Abdulkareem Jassim, on Saturday, 24 January 2026, with the attendance of the esteemed members of the Council.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing a number of strategic files of academic and administrative significance. The Council reviewed the agenda and approved a set of key themes, including deliberations on the preparations for holding the First International Conference of Al-Huda University College, the organization of the College Day and the introductory ceremony, as well as a review of the approved plans for preparing for the second academic semester.
The Council also discussed the proposal to establish a medical clinic within the College, given its direct impact on enhancing health services and community support. In addition, the Council evaluated the accomplished research output and determined the criteria for accrediting scientific publications in accordance with standards of academic rigor and the requirements of national and international ranking systems.
Furthermore, the Council addressed the activation of the role of the Central Committee for Academic Developments as a fundamental pillar in the advancement of academic programs, in addition to examining mechanisms for the digital transformation of official correspondence within the College, in support of the principles of institutional governance and in alignment with modern trends in university administration.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Council emphasized the necessity of adhering to the implementation of the issued decisions and recommendations within the specified timelines, in a manner that contributes to strengthening the academic and administrative standing of Al-Huda University College and consolidating its effective presence within the higher education system.
